About OrthoVoyage
OrthoVoyage is a medical travel concierge for patients in the UK who need hip, knee or shoulder surgery and do not want to wait for it. We are not a hospital, a clinic or a healthcare provider, and we give no medical advice. Your operation is carried out by an independent private hospital in Jelenia Góra, Poland, which works under European Union medical regulation. We handle everything around it.
What we actually do
- Take your details and send them to the hospital's medical team for review.
- Come back with a written plan: the named hospital and its company details, your surgeon, the implant proposed and a fixed price from the hospital's own price list.
- Advise on flights and arrange your hotel and airport transfers. Flights are normally booked by you; if your case needs a different arrangement, we agree it in advance.
- Stay with you as one point of contact in English, before, during and after the trip.
Who treats you
The treatment agreement is between you and the hospital. Its surgeons decide whether surgery is right for you, carry it out and are responsible for your clinical care. We do not take part in any medical decision. The hospital is named in your written plan before you pay anything; we do not publish its name on this website at the hospital's own request.
How we are paid
You pay the hospital directly for your treatment, at the hospital's own published list price and under its booking terms. The hospital pays us a commission for coordinating your care. We never add a fee of our own to your invoice. Flights, hotel and a private room are not included in the treatment price unless your plan says so.
What it costs
Prices come from the partner hospital's published price list. A total hip replacement starts at €6,940 (about £5,970) and a total knee replacement at €8,620 (about £7,420). The joint replacement package includes general anaesthesia, the implant, three days in hospital and up to seven outpatient physiotherapy sessions. Sterling figures are approximate and move with the exchange rate; your quotation is in euros.
What we will not tell you
We will not tell you that you need an operation, and we will not promise an outcome. If the hospital's team decides you are not a suitable candidate, or that you should be treated at home, we will tell you so — and that costs you nothing.

OrthoVoyage is registered in the European Union, with a registered address in Riga, Latvia. We work with patients across the United Kingdom and Ireland, in English.
