1. About OrthoVoyage

OrthoVoyage is a medical travel concierge. We introduce patients to independent partner hospitals in the European Union (currently in Latvia and Poland) and coordinate the practical side of treatment abroad.

• We are not a hospital, clinic or healthcare provider.
• We do not diagnose, treat or give medical advice.
• We act as an intermediary. Partner hospitals may pay us a fee or commission for coordinating patients.

By using our website or services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. What We Do — and What the Hospital Does

OrthoVoyage provides:

• an initial assessment and cost estimate based on the hospital's prices;
• liaison between you and the partner hospital;
• help arranging flights, accommodation and transfers;
• a personal coordinator throughout your journey and recovery.

Your treatment is provided by the partner hospital, not by OrthoVoyage. Your treatment agreement is directly with the hospital, which is responsible for all medical decisions, diagnosis, surgery and clinical care. Before you pay anything, your written plan names the hospital, its registered company details, your surgeon and the implant proposed.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must give accurate information about your health and medical history.
• You must hold valid travel documents for the EU country where the partner hospital is located.
• You must be fit to travel; the hospital's medical team decides whether you are suitable for surgery.

4. Prices and Payment

• Treatment prices are set by the partner hospital. Prices on our website are indicative and are confirmed in your individual written quotation.
• Hospitals may bill in euros (€). Any pound sterling (£) figures are approximate conversions and move with the exchange rate.
• Deposits and payments for treatment are usually paid directly to the hospital under its own booking terms, which you receive in writing before you pay.
• Flights and accommodation are not included unless your plan says otherwise.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancelling or rescheduling treatment is governed by the partner hospital's booking terms, given to you in writing before you pay a deposit.
• If the hospital cannot carry out the procedure for reasons on its side, you will be offered a refund or a new date under those terms.
• Flights, hotels and other travel costs are subject to their providers' terms and may not be refundable.

6. Medical Disclaimer

Information on this website is general information only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for a consultation with a doctor. The decision to have surgery abroad is yours; we strongly recommend discussing it with your GP or specialist first.

7. Limitation of Liability

• OrthoVoyage acts only as a coordinator and intermediary between you and the partner hospital.
• Clinical outcomes, complications and medical negligence are the responsibility of the treating hospital and its medical professionals.
• We are not liable for flight cancellations, travel disruption, visa issues or events outside our control.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Insurance

We strongly recommend travel and medical insurance that covers treatment abroad, repatriation, trip cancellation and an extended stay if complications arise.

9. Website Content

We work to keep information accurate and up to date but cannot guarantee it is complete or error-free. Website content belongs to OrthoVoyage or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia and the European Union. If you live in the UK, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under UK consumer protection law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Changes are posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
