What to add to the Polish price

  • Flights. LOT flies direct from Toronto to Warsaw; from other cities you connect. Then about an hour to Wrocław and about an hour and a half by road to the hospital.
  • Accommodation after discharge for you and anyone travelling with you, for as long as your surgeon advises before the flight home.
  • A private room, if you want one, at extra cost.
  • Travel insurance that suits your trip.

Add these to the hospital price before you compare it with a Canadian private quote. Your coordinator gives you a written plan with the hospital price and the travel estimate before you pay anything.

Why the price is lower in Poland

Because of what it costs to run the hospital, not because of the medicine. Staff, buildings and overheads cost less in Poland, while the implants come from the same manufacturers used in North America: Zimmer Biomet, DePuy Synthes, Stryker and Enovis LIMA. Our partner is a private surgical hospital that has operated for around 20 years under EU medical regulation, with its own MRI and CT centre and rehabilitation department.
