How to compare two quotes fairly

Ask both hospitals for a written total on the same basis:

  1. the same type of implant, by manufacturer and model
  2. the same number of hospital nights
  3. the same number of physiotherapy sessions
  4. hotel nights after discharge, for you and a companion
  5. airport transfers
  6. what an extra hospital night costs if you need one

Then add flights from your nearest airport. A difference of a few hundred euros either way is smaller than the difference a good or bad rehabilitation makes, so weigh the practical side too: journey time from your home, how long you can stay, and who is travelling with you.

Which implant and which operation you need is the surgeon's decision in both countries. Before you pay a deposit anywhere, get a Polish quote to set beside it — the assessment is free and takes a minute.
